Global Experience

NORTH AMERICA

U.S. DELTA

Flowing water, fertile lands and cultural history come together in the Delta region of the United States, where crops such as corn, rice, soybean, wheat-beans and cotton flourish. Our team of engineers and agronomists have been developing land in the Delta region for over a decade, cultivating these crops and putting a primary focus on farmland development.

Optimum Agriculture’s team focuses on sourcing, analyzing, planning and acquiring new agricultural properties. We present our investors with profitable, long-term business opportunities, and we evaluate each potential transaction on a wide range of aspects including soil quality, crop and yield history, as well as location and weather and environmental conditions. Here, we work to ensure our operations are timely and efficient, overseeing the production process from seed to harvest.

Our consistent aim in this rich region is to achieve high yields, which we do by utilizing state-of-the-art technology to increase efficiency while lowering costs. Rivers are the key element in the Delta, and water management and energy production are key. We work with high environmental standards in mind and have implemented the use of solar panels on acquired lands, transforming those farms from energy-dependent grid-based properties into sustainable, solar-energized agricultural systems.

U.S. SOUTH EAST

The South Eastern United States boasts a unique and diverse climate, allowing for the growth of a huge variety of crops year-round. These products include watermelon squash and a whopping almost sixty percent of the entire country’s citrus production. Here, Optimum’s local division focuses on land development from a value-oriented approach, aiming to maximize operational returns and increase property value over the long-term by building a customized, comprehensive business model for each targeted property.
But our presence in the region goes far beyond the traditional perception of land development. With its vast resources and optimum conditions, we’ve recognized the region’s potential for expanded cattle farms and private hunting grounds, where hunting leases allow access to diverse game species and provide a lucrative, diversified revenue stream.

Our opportunities in the US South East extend into the community, where Optimum Agriculture sponsors regional festivals and participates in local life. With a strong internship program with the University of Florida, and as part of the Cost Sharing Program, we collaborate with scientists and research teams to work on our ranchland for research purposes in exchange for covering 75% of the planting costs.

We adhere rigorously to the guidelines of Florida’s Best Management Program, and implement the latest technology and data sources to design strategies for decision-making and implementation of standard protocol. By installing solar panels on acquired land, Optimum Agriculture has turned energy dependent farms into sustainable, solar-powered holdings, leaning into federal tax credits combined with state and local incentives for an extremely favorable climate for renewable energy investments.

EUROPEAN UNION

IBERIAN PENINSULA

Few places in the world are as perfectly suited to the cultivation of almonds, pistachios and olives as the Iberian Peninsula. With its ideal climate and water availability year-round, it’s one of the best places in the entire world to grow. Here, centuries-old tradition meets state of the art innovation in Optimum’s production of these millennial crops on the Peninsula, and our dedication to the intensive care required by each plant makes each grove like a work of art.

From this privileged location, our aim is to become a leading market participant in the almond, pistachio and olive industries. Our dedicated local team is tasked with identifying potential farmland investment opportunities, and areas are categorized according to soil type, climate conditions and water availability to lead to optimal crop selection and land use.

Our focus on innovation means cutting edge machinery that allows for the full mechanization of the farming process, and our extensive experience in land development means increased farmland efficiency and maximized land value post-conversion. A customized investment methodology is used for every project, based on each client’s risk and return profile, and our aim of positioning the company as a world-class producer of these crops is seen in the constant evolution of our work.

LATIN AMERICA

ARGENTINA & URUGUAY

Home to some of the largest fertile grasslands in the world, and the second largest river system in South America, Argentina is an agricultural gem known around the globe. Its neighbor, Uruguay, does not fall far behind: most of the territory of this small, Southern country is ideal for crop production and cattle farming. Both countries share a common culture, based on generations of gaucho ranchers in the countryside and a passion for Tango in the city milongas.

Both Uruguay and Argentina have high levels of education, large middle classes and stable political processes. Uruguay is a beam of economic progress in the region, and Optimum Agriculture focuses on local teams who can guide investors through every phase of the projects in the region – from targeting and analyzing properties to the final stages of development.

We work alongside surveyors and suppliers to establish basic infrastructure in a way that is both efficient and affordable. In this region, large areas of tillable land allow us to increase the size of production and maintain cost efficiency for our clients. With an intimate working knowledge of Argentina’s agricultural industry, Optimum endeavors to secure properties that yield the best possible return on investment, and to plant the seeds that will grow well into the future.
